A City of Ferndale council packet lists DCI Builders’ $44,940 bid as the lowest, but says a final contract award remains subject to verification.

The Aug. 13 board packet asks Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation District directors to review a sole-source contract proposal for Churn Creek Main Canal and Lateral 21 work with Core Ten Resources Inc., with three scope options topping out at $1.157 million.

The district’s June 9 budget packet shows a major jump in recommended spending, including a $400,000 federal earmark for a backup generator and language saying current rates do not cover operating costs.

City council members received an update on roughly $21 million in completed work and about $41 million in projects still underway, with questions about paving, solar readiness, dredging and boat-launch funding.
