Humboldt County supervisors are set to consider a bid award for the Sheriff’s Main Station Office Remodel Project on Tuesday, with the agenda calling for the work to go to Adams Commercial General Contracting, Inc. for $892,577.
According to the Sept. 15 Board of Supervisors agenda, the county would also approve two related supplemental budgets: $452,750 for the County Administrative Office’s Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Team and $359,695 for the sheriff’s main station budget. The agenda says the board would also authorize contract change orders up to $89,257.70.
The item does not spell out the remodel’s scope in the agenda packet excerpt, and it does not provide a bid tabulation or project history. It does, however, identify Adams Commercial General Contracting as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for the project.
The remodel is one of several spending items on a packed county agenda that also includes a possible property purchase in Eureka, behavioral health funding agreements and public health allocations.
