Humboldt County supervisors voted 5-0 Aug. 25 to select SVT Gruppe Inc. for Department of Health and Human Services security and secure transportation services, under an agreement capped at $1,470,976.
The Board of Supervisors action summary says the agreement will cover Sept. 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The vote authorizes the DHHS director or a designee to execute a professional services agreement and later amendments after review by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office.
The action followed Request for Proposals No. DHHS2026-01. The meeting agenda lists proposal attachments from National Protective Services, West Coast Guard Services, Prestige International Security Inc., SVT Gruppe, Allied Universal and Access Control Security.
