Sutter County supervisors are scheduled to consider a second amendment that would increase the county’s agreement with Compassion Pathways Behavioral Health, LLC by $496,600, raising the FY 2025-26 contract maximum to $696,600, according to the June 9 Board of Supervisors agenda.
The item would also extend the term of the contract through June 30, 2027, add another facility and increase the adopted behavioral health budget by the same $496,600, the agenda says. The amendment is listed on the county’s consent calendar among other Health and Human Services contract actions.
The agenda packet does not say why the increase is needed, and it does not indicate whether supervisors ultimately approved the amendment. It also does not provide service-demand data or any explanation of what the added facility would mean for the contract.
Compassion Pathways is one of several behavioral health providers named on the June 9 agenda, which also includes contract changes involving Elev8 Recovery Solutions, North Valley Behavioral Health, Mission Linen Supply, Midvalley Recovery Facilities and Progress House.
