Humboldt County supervisors are scheduled July 7 to consider adoption of the FY 2026-27 county and special district budgets, along with approval of the personnel allocation table, according to the board’s agenda packet.

The same agenda includes two Public Works award requests totaling more than $1.89 million. One would award the edgelines on Indian Reservation Road systems project to GR Sundberg, Inc. for $792,549.10. The other would award the Alderpoint Road storm damage repair project to William J. Etter Construction for $1,101,521.65.

Supervisors are also set to consider a retroactive $2.85 million Jail-Based Competency Treatment agreement with Recovery Solutions, covering Jan. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2028, for services at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. The agenda also lists a $936,000 supplemental road maintenance budget for FY 2025-26.

The board’s July 7 consent calendar and department items also include a number of other spending and administrative actions, but final votes will not be known until after the meeting.
