At its July 21 meeting, the Yuba County Water Agency board approved Resolution No. 2026-25, authorizing a $1 million cash-flow loan to Reclamation District 817 for its Pipe Replacement Project, according to the board’s draft minutes.
Staff said the loan is meant to bridge reimbursement delays tied to the California Department of Water Resources Deferred Maintenance Program, and that Yuba Water will file a California Environmental Quality Act notice of determination as a responsible agency. The agenda packet identified the district’s work as a pipe replacement project at Forty Mile Road near Dry Creek.
The same meeting included other agency business, including PG&E easement matters and a contract for a long-term financial model, but the loan action was a separate formal decision on a public-project financing need. The minutes available in the public record do not spell out the loan term, repayment schedule or whether any directors dissented.
