Fortuna City Council on Feb. 2 selected transit Option B, directing staff to begin opening same-day transit service to the general public, recruit a full-time Transit Supervisor and proceed with RideCo application services and a call center contract, according to the meeting summary.
The council also asked staff to return with a progress report in fiscal year 2027-28. The item was approved unanimously by the four members present, the summary said.
The transit action was part of a broader meeting that also included land-use and housing items, Measure E and budget presentations, and consent-calendar approvals.
