Anderson-Cottonwood Irrigation District directors on June 11 approved a resolution ordering a general district election, signed off on a new finance manager employment agreement and took up a draft offseason improvement list that staff said totals about $1.803 million.
According to the board packet and the approved minutes, the board passed Resolution 2026-06, which orders the Nov. 3, 2026 general district election and consolidates it with other elections. The resolution covers three seats expiring in December 2026 and says the district expects the election to cost roughly $5,000 to $10,000.
Directors also approved the finance manager employment agreement for Andromeda Herlihy, who is set to replace retiring Finance Manager Terri White, whose retirement date is July 6, 2026, the packet says. The district said the staffing change should be net neutral aside from training costs.
In a third action, operations staff presented a draft 2026/27 offseason improvement work list that includes work at locations such as Lateral 21, Lateral 29 and Lateral 37, along with several main canal areas. The packet puts the total at about $1.803 million. Minutes say the board asked staff to refine scopes, research alternatives and return with more cost data before funding decisions are made.
The meeting was held at 1887 Howard Street in Anderson. The approved minutes say all three major action items passed 3-0.
