Yuba County supervisors are set to consider releasing an RFP for demolition and site preparation at the old Tri-County Juvenile Hall on the Tri-County Youth Rehabilitation Facility campus in Marysville.
The Aug. 25 Board of Supervisors agenda asks the board to approve release of RFP 2026-RFP-14 and authorize Administrative Services to distribute the solicitation, according to the county agenda packet.
The project scope in the packet calls for demolition of two modular classroom buildings, a wood-framed administration building and most of the concrete and steel detention facility, along with hazardous materials abatement, utility disconnections, site stabilization and protection of the portion of the building that will remain.
County records identify Tri-County Juvenile Hall as part of the campus at 1023 14th Street in Marysville. The packet describes the work as the first phase of a multi-year transformation of the campus, and it does not identify a funding commitment for the solicitation stage.
The agenda materials list Bradley Bird, an administrative analyst, as the contact for the RFP. The board packet does not show the outcome of the item in the materials reviewed.
The demolition solicitation appears alongside other capital and administrative items on the same agenda, including library renovation change orders and a professional services agreement for EnerGov support.
