Sutter County’s Health and Welfare Committee is set to consider a proposed one-year contract with American Addiction Treatment Services, Inc. for narcotic treatment program services that would not exceed $500,000.

According to the committee packet for the June 16 meeting, the agreement would run from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, and would support medication-assisted treatment for people with opioid use disorder in Sutter and Yuba counties. The staff report says the services would be provided at the company’s Marysville facility.

County staff say the contract would be funded through Medi-Cal revenue, Opioid Settlement Funds and 2011 Realignment match, with no county general fund impact. The report also says County Counsel reviewed the agreement.

The posted materials do not show whether the committee or the Board of Supervisors approved the contract. The packet also does not show any vote tally.

The agenda item is one of several health-related actions on the committee’s June 16 agenda, alongside agreements involving the county probation department, Partnership HealthPlan of California, the Medi-Cal County Inmate Program and Youth for Change, Inc.
