Shasta County supervisors approved two separate recovery steps Tuesday against the same Anderson property tied to a long-running nuisance case: a special assessment for $25,544.70 and a lien for $105,900.
The special assessment, adopted on Aug. 25, is intended to recoup nuisance abatement costs at 14800 Modesta View Court, according to the board resolution. The document says the county demanded payment on July 1, 2026, and the owner, 14800 Modesta View LLC, did not pay.
A separate resolution authorizes a lien to recover unpaid administrative fines and penalties tied to the same property. That resolution also says the county demanded payment on July 1, 2026 and was not paid.
Together, the two actions total $131,444.70 in county recovery efforts.
The county’s violation summary describes the matter as a repeat nuisance case, citing 13 sheriff’s office calls for service since 2019 and a prior case, V19-0268. The summary also says the county’s abatement and enforcement costs total $131,444.70.
