Big Lagoon trustees approved the district’s 2026-27 consortium technology agreement at their May 19 meeting, but pushed final action on an amended ELOP plan to a later meeting after spending time revising it.
According to the approved minutes, Superintendent Cathie Shermer said the proposed technology agreement for the coming school year includes high-speed internet and firewall security. She said web hosting would now be the district’s responsibility and that the district would continue using Edlio privately. Trustees then approved the agreement.
The May 19 agenda had listed both the technology agreement and an ELOP plan for board action. Minutes show Shermer said the current ELOP plan in Document Tracking Services appeared more complete than the one approved last month, and trustees went through edits during the meeting. Final approval was deferred until the plan is brought back as a final draft.
The minutes do not give a dollar amount or contract term for the technology agreement, and they do not spell out the specific changes made to the ELOP plan.
