Sutter County supervisors are set to take up a final cleanup of federal pandemic-relief money, a regional housing-authority agreement and a statehood resolution at their May 26 meeting.
According to the board’s agenda packet, the county is scheduled to receive a final American Rescue Plan Act report, approve budget amendments totaling $1,478,148, move $35,482 in ARPA interest revenue to the Public Safety Fund and close out the federal relief fund.
The same meeting agenda also includes an amended and restated joint exercise of powers agreement that would create a regional housing authority involving Sutter, Nevada, Yuba, Colusa and Lake counties, along with several cities, according to the agenda summary.
Supervisors are also scheduled to consider a consent item supporting Assembly Joint Resolution 23 (Gallagher), which calls for formation of a new state.
The packet and summary show the items as pending agenda business. The meeting record would be needed to confirm whether the board approved each measure and whether any supervisors offered amendments or objections.
