The Fortuna Elementary School District Board of Trustees was scheduled to consider a resolution connecting a five-year facilities master plan to applications for California’s School Facility Program Small School District Program.
Resolution 26-09 was listed as the sole discussion and/or action item on a special meeting set for Oct. 8, 2026, immediately after the district’s regular meeting. The agenda scheduled the special meeting for 6:30 p.m. at the Fortuna Middle School Cafeteria, 843 L St., Fortuna.
The resolution concerns the five-year school facilities master-plan requirement for applications to the state’s Small School District Program. The agenda does not include a vote result, project costs, the contents of a master plan or any state funding award.
The regular Oct. 8 board agenda separately listed consideration of pricing for Fortuna Middle School shade structures, canopies and concrete. It also called for discussion and possible action on direction for an Ambrosini Elementary administration-building remodel and site work. The agenda does not state the pricing amount or describe a final project scope.
Meeting minutes or a clerk’s vote record would be needed to determine whether trustees approved Resolution 26-09 or took action on the related facilities items.
