The Yuba County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 on Oct. 13 to adopt revised fire impact and mitigation fees for the Loma Rica/Browns Valley Community Services District.

The board adopted Resolution 2026-86 after holding a public hearing. Board Chair Seth Fuhrer opened and closed the hearing, and the county’s summary of proceedings states that no one came forward to speak. Chief Building Official Dave Maddux provided a brief recap and answered questions from supervisors.

Supervisors Andy Vasquez, Fuhrer, Gary Bradford and Jon Messick voted for the resolution. Supervisor Renick House voted against it. The proceedings document does not list the previous or revised fee amounts, the effective date or how the fees will be applied to different types of development.
