Marysville Joint Unified School District’s July 28 board agenda is stacked with approvals for curriculum, safety, staffing, telecom and labor items that together amount to a large spending package for the coming school years.
Among the biggest proposed contracts is a McGraw Hill K-8 math materials package valued at $2,708,258.57 for the 2026-27 through 2033-34 school years. The packet also lists a five-year Centegix safety platform contract worth $205,100, plus a $1,732,455 expanded-learning staffing agreement with Coast 2 Coast Coaching, which does business as Elevo.
The agenda also includes a five-year 101Voice telecom master service agreement worth $853,218.40, along with a round of compensation tentative agreements covering most employee groups. Those include MUTA at $3,344,248.54, OE3 at $1,451,762.27, AMACE, the Supervisory Employee Group, CSEA chapters 326 and 648, and unrepresented employees.
On the instructional side, trustees are set to consider textbook and curriculum actions tied to the district’s July 28 packet, including a biology adoption for Lindhurst High School and an AP Chemistry adoption for Marysville High School. The agenda also includes a Perkins V career technical education grant, a Title VI American Indian Education grant, a Wellness Together counseling agreement for Linda Elementary, and a Thera-Staffers amendment adding speech-language pathology support.
According to the agenda materials, the board also has budget and governance items in front of it, including the district’s proposed 2026-27 budget and a superintendent contract addendum or extension. Final vote results were not available in the agenda packet itself.
