Marysville Joint Unified School District trustees approved a series of closed-session student discipline and personnel actions at their June 23 meeting, according to approved minutes.

In the closed session report-out, the board approved expulsions for two students, EH-25-26-60 and EH-25-26-62, and approved a suspended expulsion contract for EH-25-26-61, the minutes say. Trustees also approved a continuance request for EH-25-26-64 and reinstatements for 12 students.

The same minutes show trustees approved a separation agreement for classified employee #9789 and adopted Resolution 2025-26/36 to release and reassign certificated employee #4637. The public minutes do not describe the underlying conduct, reasons or other case details.

The board’s June 23 agenda packet shows trustees entered closed session for student discipline and personnel matters. The approved minutes list the actions later announced in open session.

Also at the meeting, the board held public hearings on the district’s 2026-27 LCAP, the MCAA LCAP and budget overview, the proposed 2026-27 district budget, and the adoption of McGraw Hill Reveal as the K-8 math curriculum. Trustees also approved several consent items, including special education and professional development agreements.
