Live Oak’s April 15 agenda pairs two street-maintenance items: a request to authorize a SACOG application for the Live Oak System Preservation Project and a separate road rehabilitation contract with All American Construction, Inc.
According to the council packet, the SACOG item would seek funding for work on Larkin Road and Broadway, including a rubber cape seal treatment and striping. The staff report says the grant would require an 11.47% local match if awarded.
The second item would let the city enter into a $141,547.59 agreement with All American Construction for paving work on city streets, using a piggybacked Sutter County contract rather than running its own bid process. The packet says the work would cover segments on Hampton Road/N Street and Nevada Street. It also calls for a $177,000 Transportation Development Act budget amendment to cover the contract, project management and contingency.
If council approves both items, Live Oak would move ahead with a grant-backed preservation project and near-term resurfacing work under a contract already awarded by Sutter County.
