The Humboldt County Association of Governments board unanimously denied the City of Eureka’s Cycle 7 RHNA appeal at its April 30 special meeting and directed staff to finalize the draft Regional Housing Needs Plan, according to the approved meeting record.
The action followed an agenda item that listed a “draft written determination of appeal” for the Eureka housing allocation dispute. In the approved record, the board adopted the written determination denying the appeal and moved the draft housing plan forward for future adoption.
The meeting record does not include the full text of the written determination or the board’s detailed reasoning. It also does not identify any no votes or abstentions; the recorded action was unanimous.
